The Document Search page of the
Precedent Authority database allows
you to specify the practice area of
interest by simply using a drop-down

Clause Title, and Defined Terms fields
to locate language that would be
included in the body of the document.
The Fuzzy Search Logic feature
directs LIVEDGAR to find similar

The Clause and Defined terms
Search links operate in a similar
manner, but the results show the
valid clauses or defined terms in
their entirety rather than as a part of
a larger document.

company name, free text, law
firm, SIC and net income to further
narrow your search. Also unique to
this database is the ability to define
the governing law so you can easily
pull up examples of agreements
drafted to meet the requirements of
